3 morning habits that will improve your health
Start each day with a big glass of room temperature or warm water, even better add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. This starts to get you hydrated early in the day and is really good for supporting your digestion.
2. Healthy Breakfast.
Choose a breakfast that includes protein, fat and carbohydrate. Some examples eggs, spinach & tomato, full fat Greek yoghurt with a mix of nuts/seeds and berries or smoked salmon with avocado and spinach leaves & walnuts. These options are packed with important nutrients and will balance your blood sugar levels ensuring you maintain your energy and feel satisfied for many hours. This will also reduce sugar/carb cravings.
Write in a gratitude diary every morning at least three things that you are grateful for that day. If you are finding it hard to feel grateful remember that if you have a roof over your head, a home, fresh water, hot water and electricity, then you have something to be grateful for! A gratitude practice sets you up in a positive mindset for the day.
