3 Reasons Why You Should Eat Breakfast
Remember all those times when your mother told you breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Well she was right. As a university student, I am always making excuses to why I don’t eat breakfast including the most popular statements of running late or wanting to sleep in.
However through research I have discovered why breakfast is an important and healthy meal.
Waking up in the early hours of the morning and getting ready for work or school can sometimes leave you in a rush to get out the door and skip breakfast. However, waking up 10 minutes earlier and eating breakfast can give your body a great boost and give you great nutrition’s to start your day.
A healthy alternative can provide you with important nutrients as well as protein, fibre and energy.
Breakfast eaters are known to consume more vitamins and minerals over the course of a day than a breakfast.

For our non breakfast eaters reading this, let me ask you a question. Do you find it tough to concentrate? Are you tired and irritated in the mornings.
Breakfast provides you with the brain energy to perform and concentrate. There have been numerous studies that execute children’s daily performance and exams.

It’s important to remember to feed your brain when you wake up. The brain needs glucose to work efficiently and give you that boost of energy for the day.
